KATI — Terms of Service
KATI is operated by HYMMA (info@hymma.net). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms.
1. The service
KATI turns text descriptions into CAD models: solids, assemblies, and engineering drawings you can download in standard formats. Some capabilities (premium calculators and skills) may be paid.
2. Accounts
Sign-in is handled by Clerk. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials safe.
3. Your content
You own what you put in (prompts, standards, uploaded documents) and what comes out (models, drawings, exports). You grant us the licence needed to run the service on your behalf — to process your inputs, build and store your models, and show them back to you.
4. Engineering disclaimer
KATI produces design drafts, not certified engineering. Outputs can be wrong, incomplete, or unsuitable for your loads, materials, or regulations. You are responsible for verifying every model, drawing, and calculation with a qualified person before manufacturing or relying on it. KATI is not a substitute for professional engineering advice.
5. Data use and model training
We record how the service is used — prompts, generated models, edits, choices you make in queries, failures, and telemetry — to operate the service, bill accurately, fix defects, and improve quality, including training and evaluating our own models on these records.
- Opt-out: you may opt out of your data being used for model training at any time by emailing info@hymma.net; the service keeps working the same.
- Your documents stay yours: documents you upload (company standards, supplier datasheets) are used only within your own account's context and are never used to train shared models.
- Payment details are processed by Stripe; authentication by Clerk. We do not store card numbers.
6. Paid features
Prices, included usage, and one-off purchases are shown before you pay. Fees are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.
7. Acceptable use
Do not use KATI to infringe others' rights, to reverse-engineer the service, or to design items that are illegal for you to make or possess in your jurisdiction.
8. Availability and liability
The service is provided "as is", without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the claim arose. We are not liable for losses arising from manufactured parts — see section 4.
9. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the product. Continued use after a change means acceptance.
